About this live air quality map
OpenAQ aggregates ground-based air quality sensors from public monitoring networks worldwide. Each marker is a station; click it to see the reported measurements included in the feed.
Station density follows public infrastructure: dense across North America, Europe, and South/Southeast Asia, sparse across much of Africa and Central Asia. Readings are as-reported by each network.
Data is fetched in your browser through our own cached endpoint and rendered locally — no account, no install, nothing you do here is uploaded anywhere. Live feeds are approximate and must not be used for navigation or safety-of-life decisions.
