Free Online GeoJSON DiagonalArrow Draw Tool
Draw diagonal/curved arrow symbols on a map. Create angled directional arrows with a curved body. Export as GeoJSON. Free GIS arrow tool.
What is DiagonalArrow?
DiagonalArrow draws a curved or angled arrow between two points. Unlike StraightArrow, the diagonal arrow has a curved body that creates an angled appearance, making it suitable for showing indirect routes, flanking movements, or diagonal directional indicators. The arrow head is positioned at the end point.
How to draw
To draw a DiagonalArrow, select DiagonalArrow mode. Click the start point, then click the end point. The arrow curves naturally between the two points. Double-click to finish.
Common uses
Diagonal arrows are used in military tactical symbols for flanking maneuvers, indirect fire indicators, approach routes, and any directional indication where a straight arrow is too rigid or direct.
GeoJSON output
Each geometry is converted to standard GeoJSON (RFC 7946) format with WGS84 coordinates. Copy or download the output for use in any GIS or mapping application.
All geometry types
This tool supports all 12 geometry types: Point, Polyline, Polygon, Freehand, StraightArrow, DiagonalArrow, DoveTailArrow, DoubleArrow, ClosedCurve, Sector, GatheringPlace, and PlotLineString.
