About this dataset

2,500+ headquarters of the world's most valuable public and private companies, mapped with market value, industry, and ticker data.

The Global Capital Atlas pinpoints the headquarters of more than 2,500 of the world's most valuable companies, from trillion-dollar tech giants to regional champions. Each headquarters point carries the company name, stock ticker, market value in billions of US dollars, industry and sub-industry classification, ownership type, street address, and official website. It is a ready-made base layer for studying where corporate power concentrates — from Silicon Valley and the American Northeast to Shenzhen, Tokyo, London, and the Gulf.

The atlas ranks 2,091 companies by market value, and together they are worth well over $100 trillion — the 20 most valuable alone account for roughly $39 trillion. The United States leads with 716 headquarters, followed by China (214), Japan (151), India (117), and Canada (87). Most points are pinned at street or building precision. The pinPrecision attribute flags each record so you can filter out lower-confidence placements.
