ACLED (Armed Conflict Location & Event Data) provides the most comprehensive daily-updated dataset of political violence and protest events worldwide. Each event includes exact coordinates, date, event type (battles, explosions, riots, protests, strategic developments), involved actors, fatalities, and civilian targeting. Coverage spans all countries from 1997-present with daily updates.
