FAQ

What time period does GFSAD30 cover?

GFSAD30 provides baseline cropland extent for the 2000-2015 period. Multi-temporal releases are being developed to track cropland change over time.

How accurate is GFSAD30?

GFSAD30 reports overall accuracy of 85-95% depending on region. The highest accuracy is in large-scale mechanized agriculture regions. Accuracy is lower in smallholder and shifting cultivation areas.
